I just tested and installed Citrix XenServer on a Lenovo T61 laptop. I have to say the installation was easy and without issues in comparing to VMware ESXi and Microsoft Hyper-V.
XenServer is similar to VMware in usability and manageability. Also, it is so much better than Microsoft Hyper-V, which is so limited in their software. Well, we can’t blame them because they started using vitalization at a later time.
One things I didn’t like about XenServer, as well as VMware, is that you have to console into the server with their management client application.
