There are two ways you can repair and fix a corrupted or damaged Exchange 2007 database.

1. Using the GUI

  • Launch the Exchange Management Console
  • Navigate to the ‘Toolbox’ option and select ‘Database Recovery Management’
  • Click on ‘Verify database and transaction logs’
  • Select the database to repair

2. Using ESEUTIL

  • Launch the ‘Command Prompt’
  • Make sure you have enough spaces on the drive for the database repair (It requires 110% of free disk space of the database size)
  • Type in ‘Eseutil /P “Your Exchange Database file Full path”
  • After it is done, type in ‘Eseutil /D “Your Exchange Database file Full path”
